Pajama Handyman
Yeahhhhh I’m incredibly late in posting this, considering this happened almost 2 weeks ago as of this posting. Looking back at the total comics I’ve made for February, I made a whopping TEN. :( That sucks, and I apologize for the lack of comics. This past month or so has been absolutely busy busy busy as we continue to get the house ready for Nathan, leaving me with little time to do them, or simply just to exhausted to them, as I gotta make sure that I go to bed at a decent time to get up for my jobby-job.
The good news? I have 2 more comics inked and ready to be colored, and I’ll be uploading them over the next couple days! I’ll be using them as a buffer in my attempt to get on a somewhat normal schedule again with my comic. Installing the laminate was the last really big project I had to do around the house, so hopefully it means I have a bit more free time!
So who’s ready for pictures? :D
As promised, here are pictures of Natey’s room!!

There’s still a couple more things we want to do to it, like deciding what should go on the wall with the light switch (in the picture with the mobile), and I also want to do a couple 12×12 space themed paintings for his room as well for over the dresser (you can sort of see the dresser in the last picture with the changing pad on top of it). But they’ll get done in due time :)
Hopefully all of this should hold everyone over until tomorrow’s update! Thank you all for reading as always, you’re the best!!!

Thanks for the update! Man the Baby room is awesome. You guys are going to be great parents.
Thank you so much!! It was a TON of work, but we love how it turned out! As for being great parents, I certainly hope we will be :D the way I see it, we already love him so much and have done so much *for* him, it makes me more confident that we will be :)
Chris, great job on the baby’s room. I think you’re ready for
“the toughest job you’ll ever love.” That’s actually the Peace Corps slogan
but it applies to parenting too. Let me know if you need free advice.
Your kid could turn out like Mikhail or Tim.
All the best to you man.
Greg G
Thank you so much!! We both worked really hard to get the room just right, and to just make sure that everything matched!
I can definitely see this being the toughest job I’ll ever love, that’s a great line to go by. And I certainly hope that he turns out like Khail or Tim; two great kids full of love and respect. That’s all I ask for, I think haha :D
My wife says after you finish, you can help me with our floors! LOL 8-P
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo
haha I told Tiff that that is the LAST time I install laminate anywhere. Of course that’ll probably go out the window later in life because I don’t see the point in paying someone for something I can do myself. At least this was a short run, so it wasn’t *too* bad. The only rough part was running up and down the stairs to go outside to cut the pieces of laminate to size. My legs were DEAD by the end of it haha
Awwww Nathan’s room is so cute! :)
Yay thank you so much!! :D I’m so glad that everyone seems to dig it!!
No matter how many times I see it, that room remains ridiculously awesome.
As for the comic, I think it was the “Oh yeah.” That did it for me.
Hahaha I wasn’t too sure if I should keep that in there when I was inking this one! I’m glad I did now :D And thank you so much!!
Love that the photos of his space-themed nursery are shown on the day that NateTracker describes him as “launch ready”!
Haha! I didn’t even think about that!! So awesome :D
Also, why didn’t I think of calling that tracker the “NateTracker”?!?! D: I fail. lol
God, In your pajamas! What a gangster.
Haha! I got an image to uphold. ;)
I love it, you guys did awesome on his room! =D Well I’ve given most of our stuff away but we might have a couple toys we can salvage for ya. When they are itty bitty rattles and stuff are better toys for them. The diapers I have are 2′s, so depending on how big he is, he probably won’t fit them right away but who knows. I also have two big boxes full of bra pads if your wife is planning on breastfeeding, they are an essential thing to have in that case. XD Well if you decide you’d like me to send stuff over, just let me know. You guys are so close, yay!
Thank you so much! :D Yeah we have no idea what size we’re gonna need right away so we bought both newborn and 1′s. Doc said that they think he’s going to be about 7.5 lbs when born. :) But I’ll definitely let you know!!
The room looks great! :)
Thank you so much!! :D
Wow Chris, very nice job on Nate’s room! makes me wish i had a cool room like that when i was a little guy.
Haha I said the same thing! It really turned out great :D
That room is so bad ass, I want it for myself. Except, minus the baby bed.
Also, I made the shelf in my living room in my pajamas, pfft. We are
pros.
lol don’t lie, you’d like that bed. Or at least the bedsheets. :P
Hooray for PJ Professionals!! hahaha
wow! really impressive work on your son’s bedroom!
really love your work, I’ve like all day reading your comic (just found it) instead of studying :S
Thank you so much! We definitely worked our butts off on his room, and love that it turned out exactly as we had envisioned :)
And thank you so much for reading!!! :D
