Eventually I turned it off and went to sleep just because I was so tired, but I probably would have sat there and watched the whole thing otherwise.
Lots of work to do today comic-wise (workin’ on my first book, replying to comments and emails, replying to “Ask Christopher” questions) so expect to hear from me throughout the day on twitter and FB about how things are going!
ALSO I finally remembered to add something to the sidebar about a con I’ll be exhibiting at for the first time EVER :0 I’ll be at SPX this year, everyone!! Mega super thanks to Perry Alter of The Tale of Tamarind for sharing his table space!! It’s going to be awesommmmeee and I’m totally FREAKING OUT. In a good way though! Mostly!!
Thank you all for reading, see you back here on Wednesday!
I went on a little youtube spree watching as many absurd videos about wrestling. Ranging from the time when Pee Herman was on WWE to short bits about John Cena’s degree in thuganomics and his 5 knuckle shuffle.
There’s something so hilarious and absurd about wrestling that just draws you in. And even more absurd are the people who actually legitimately like it and think it’s good entertainment in a non comical way.
It’ll suck you in! I spent a good bit of my teen years and early 20s watching WWE in a very self-aware way. Of course it’s fake, but it’s fun to watch if you turn your brain off (kind of like Dragonball Z.)
Man, wrestling is dumb, but boy are their storylines funny as hell.
Also first comment here. Hi.
I totally get this. I used to just sit back get sucked into the Wrasslin’ world. It’s ridiculous, but wow, does it ever suck you in.
